Major Giving Program

Liberty Assistance and Guide Dogs’ work is made possible by the philanthropy of its donors. As all our services, including training and support, are provided to our clients at no cost, we depend largely on the generosity of foundations, corporations, and individual donors to continue our work.
Major Giving is a special personalized and tailored donation experience that allows you to make a greater impact for people that are blind or visually impaired. Through this program you can select an area or an ongoing project that mostly matters to you and support it one time or by a series of donations. The impact of a Major Giving Program is immense as it supports our infrastructure, increases the number of dogs trained, enabling us to help more blind people enhance their independence and confidence and live a normal life.
Throughout that program, you will be provided with a detailed progress report of the project you have been funding.

Our Major Giving Program includes a range of programs to support, including:

• Puppy sponsor 1.000€
  By becoming a Puppy Sponsor you are helping Liberty select a puppy -Labrador or Golden Retriever- and place it in a foster family to begin its training.
• Puppy Training Sponsor 3.000€
  By becoming a Puppy Training sponsor, you are helping Liberty train a puppy until it reaches 14 months old.
• Puppy Support sponsor 5.000€
  By becoming a Puppy Support sponsor, you are helping Liberty select a puppy -Labrador or Golden Retriever- place it in a foster family, all the equipment needed (crate, bed, lease, enrichment supplies), veterinary care (includes all specialized and routine tests, neutering and microchip), appropriate quality food and training until it is ready to leave the foster family and start training as a guide dog.
• Liberty Guide Dog Sponsor 10.000€ (semiannual support)
  By becoming a Liberty Guide Dog Sponsor, you will be supporting the training of a Guide dog by our specialized instructors for the duration of 6 months. You are also supporting their veterinary support, health care and maintenance of our facilities.
• Liberty 18.000€ (annual support)
  By becoming a Liberty Guide Dog Sponsor, you will be supporting the training of a Guide dog by our specialized instructors for the duration of 12 months. You are also supporting their veterinary support, health care and maintenance of our facilities.
• Liberty 25.000€ (full support)
  By becoming a Liberty Guide Dog Sponsor, you will be supporting the full training of a Guide dog by our specialized instructors, the matching process (finding the right dog for the right person) and the training of both based on the needs of the person for the whole duration of the training process. You are also supporting their veterinary support and health care, the maintenance of our facilities where non-Attica residents are being hosted for 30-45 days, receiving the first part of training, as a simulation of their everyday life with their dog. Additionally, you are covering the expenses of the Liberty Instructor that visits the clients in their city of residence to support them in their own home in their real-life conditions and resolve any further issues that may arise. All the “take home” equipment: harness for the dog, jacket, lease, crate, blind stick, enrichment supplies for the dog, bed etc.
