Yes, you can make a donation to someone’s memory or honor.
Raising a Guide Dog costs about 25.000€
Usually puppy walkers keep the puppies for 12 to 14 months.
Yes, you will be able to see the puppy upon agreement or at our events.
If you want to become a puppy walker all of the puppy expenses are covered (food, veterinarian, kennel etc.)
Yes, you will be able to take the puppy with you on vacation, out to dine, on excursion etc.
In the beginning, you can leave the puppy alone up to 2 hours and as it grows older you could leave it alone up to 4 hours per day.
You will meet with your puppy’s trainer about once a week or once every 2 weeks.
Guide Dogs usually work for 7 years. When they retire their handler can keep them. In case the handler can’t keep the dog, the puppy walker is the next person to be asked if he or she can take the dog and, if the puppy walker can’t, we find a suitable home for him or her.
