In the beginning, you can leave the puppy alone up to 2 hours and, as it grows older, you could leave it alone up to 4 hours per day.

Guide Dogs usually work for 7 years. When they retire their handler can keep them. In case the handler can’t keep the dog, the puppy walker is the next person to be asked if he or she can take the dog and, if the puppy walker can’t, we find a suitable home for him or her.
